Day 1

Arrive in Chengdu

Arrive in Chengdu and settle in at a pace that works with the flight or train schedule. The first evening is kept flexible for rest, a simple local meal or an easy city introduction.

Day 2

Chengdu to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou

Travel toward the Jiuzhaigou area by the most suitable rail-and-road combination for the season. Visit Huanglong for its distinctive calcified pools and mountain setting, leaving enough time for altitude adjustment and an unhurried arrival near Jiuzhaigou.

Day 3

Full day in Jiuzhaigou

Spend a full day in Jiuzhaigou National Park, with time for its lakes, waterfalls, forest valleys and seasonal scenery. The route inside the park can be shortened or slowed down according to weather, energy level and photography priorities.

Day 4

Jiuzhaigou area to Chengdu

Return toward Chengdu, with an optional stop around the Minjiang headwaters, Chuanzhusi or another suitable local viewpoint if timing allows. Continue by high-speed rail or vehicle connection, then enjoy a relaxed evening around Chengdu's city centre.

Day 5

Pandas and Dujiangyan

Visit Dujiangyan Panda Valley, then continue to Yangtianwo Panda Square, Dujiangyan Irrigation System and Guanxian Old Town. The evening can be left open for local food and a riverside walk, subject to season and local conditions.

Day 6

Sanxingdui and Chengdu

Explore Sanxingdui Museum for the bronze, gold and ritual objects of the ancient Shu civilization. Return to Chengdu with free time for a teahouse, neighborhood walk or any interests the group would like to add.

Day 7

Departure or onward travel

Transfer for the return flight or train, or continue to another China destination. This final day can be adjusted around the confirmed departure time.
